Had some nice 55 degree weather in New England today, so I moved the plane outside and trimmed the wing tips to final length. Had to remove some top trim from my garage door header to get the plane to fit through the door with the wingtips installed. Clearance is an absolute minimum. There is no clearance for wingtip lights unless I trim back the end of the wing tips.
Rearranged my garage so I can bolt on the horizontal stabilizer. Per chance, the bottom of the horizontal stabilizer is just above my 36" high bench so it can overlap a clean bench. No room to walk around the rear of the plane in my one car garage with the benches in place unless I skew the tail over one of the benches. Eventually there will be a bench on only one side which should improve things.
